It's Official!!
We went to court this morning and had our adoption finalized! Wahoo! It was a REALLY great experience. I've never been in a courtroom before, so it was kind of neat being sworn in and all that. Our lawyer and caseworker are both great, and the judge was really nice too. We are now the full and legal parents of Rachel (even though it's felt like that since the beginning anyway). Hooray!

That's so awesome! Congrats to your cute little family! I don't know what my problem is, but seeing your twitter post where it says 'thank you Mindy' totally made me cry! Your pictures remind me of the day we adopted Joey, officially. :) Such a great experience!

Congratulations, guys! You probably saw my co-worker Sara acting as the bailiff. If I'd known you were coming, you could have come up to courtroom 402 and watched a thrilling felony trial afterwards...or said hello or whatnot. Too bad your case wasn't assigned to Judge Taylor. On the other hand, Judge Hansen's courtroom is much nicer than ours.
I also cried when I read "Thank you, Mindy." I love you all.
I am soooo happy for you! I remember when our Rachel and Daniel were finalized in court! It was such an awesome experience! Your Rachel is absolutely adorable, and you are so blessed to have her! Adoption is such a blessing! I can't wait to hear about the temple! Love you!!!

I am soooo excited for you 3. Even though I didnt doubt that anything would go wrong, it is still so great to have it completely finalized.
