The Cabin

Mike's family (specifically, Mike's grandparents) have a cabin in the mountains that Mike and his parents and siblings have gone to for years. It's such a peaceful retreat up in the woods, and though we only get up there a few times a year, we always love it, and Mike has a lot of really fun memories from it. Sadly, his grandparents have sold it, so we had a couple last trips up there. Rachel and Reed loved it and hopefully we'll be able to have something like that again.

So, at the cabin, there's this swing. It's on a hill and the chains are attached to trees and about 18 feet long and swings out over the hill, so you can get REALLY high on it. It's pretty much the most awesome swing ever.

This picture gives you a little idea of how high we get on the swing, and it really doesn't even do it justice. (That's me, by the way. I kicked the tree).
