"Other"

So, in preparation for blogging, I had folders for various subjects about which to blog. Pictures with no theme were put in the "Other" folder. And here they are. :)

Okay, prepare yourself for something truly shocking.

Are you ready?

 The kids, playing together, without grabbing, screaming, or fighting in any way. I had to capture it on film or I may not have believed it myself. 

Kidding, of course, it does happen sometimes. Reed and Rachel actually do adore each other. They just get in each others' space a lot. But they can be really sweet to each other too.

Reed is not good at going to bed at night. One night he got so worked up that Mike got him up and let him sit with him and share his popcorn before going back to bed. Reed thoroughly enjoyed the break. 

Mindy and Ashlyn came to visit for a couple days around Rachel's birthday. Rachel and Ashlyn love each other so much! This picture's not great, but it's the only one I caught that isn't blurry.

Why do I always end up taking pictures of him with no shirt on?

This is last week after Mike came home from an airsoft game. He sat with Rachel and drew our family on these whiteboards. It's one of Rachel's favorite things, she loves watching other people draw.

 On Sunday after Reed went to bed, Rachel helped me bake. She loves helping in the kitchen, and is really good at listening to instructions. She's a great helper.

Us at the parade! Rachel didn't really like the heat, but she loved the candy they threw out. Reed loved any float with music and did a lot of dancing.
