Mischief and Partyin'

Both kids are now at the age where they can get into a lot of things, which makes my job both busy, and kind of funny.

Example no. 1: Reed can reach and open the drawer where we keep plastic bags.

Example no. 2: Rachel can open the pantry, and sometimes we forget to put the cookies higher up. Here she is showing Reed the ropes.

Rachel is now really good at navigating around on the computer, and can even work the track pad on the laptop.

And Reed is really good at clawing faces and pulling hair. He drew blood scratching at my face the other day. We have to keep his nails very short. Here you can see Mike bracing himself.

Reed loves the oven and will occasionally lick the oven window when there is something yummy cooking inside. It's pretty funny. Luckily he can't open it, and also luckily, our oven locks, because I know he will be able to at some point.

I just thought this was a funny face.
