Airsoft is cool... Airsoft is fun...

It gets its food from the rays of the sun. Ok, maybe not, but is is still cool and fun. Conner and I (Mike), have gotten back into airsoft this summer. We played a lot back before Kyle went on his mission when he worked at Hobbytron and got us all cost on airsoft guns and accessories.
For anyone not familiar with airsoft, it is somewhat like paintball. Still a bunch of macho wannabe combat dudes (every now and again we see a dudette get into it) shooting each other for fun. Airsoft guns shoot little plastic bb's and more often than not, look and feel just like real guns. The guns are usually powered by a spring that can be cocked, CO2 cartridges, or electric motors that can make your guns shoot semi or fully automatic!

We have gone up Provo canyon a couple of times to play in the last three weeks. One time there were like 30 guys; we were all dressed in camo and had fully automatic guns. We played 15 on 15 capture the flag (I slipped on a log and fell into the river, completely filled my boots full of water, it was sweet). My buddy from work, Matt, has also played with us. He and I always bring extra guns, so that anyone who wants to come can play. This is also an invitation for anyone around the valley that would like to play, just let me know, we are happy to get as many players as possible (more targets for everyone :) You don't need camo, although it helps, or even a gun, just a heartbeat and guts.

On to the a couple of pics... we really aren't as crazy as we look.
