Moving

Sorry I haven't blogged in forever! We moved a couple weeks ago, so the couple weeks before the move, I was busy packing and getting ready, and the couple weeks after we were getting settled in, so blogging got put on the back burner.

After having it on the market for 8 months, we finally sold our home. In order to have time to look for a new house and save a little money, we moved in with Mike's parents and plan to be here for a few months. Rachel took the transition in stride and the change didn't faze her in the least. Reed, on the other hand, has had a hard time of it. He hasn't been sleeping well (which means we haven't been sleeping well) and keeps saying he wants to go home. Now that it's been almost three weeks though, he's finally adjusting, but I'm expecting to go through the same thing again when we buy a new house. The move went well though, and most of our stuff is in a storage unit.

With the move though, we honestly haven't done much of anything else, so there aren't very many pictures on this post either. But we have lots of fun things planned for the summer so stay tuned!

Uncle Conner also buys a lot of fun toys. He recently bought a couple of kayaks, and  took us and the kids out to give them a try! The kids had a ton of fun.

Reed has been thoroughly enjoying at least one aspect of living at Gammy and Papa's house though- the garden, which is just a patch of dirt at this point. He loves digging, throwing dirt clods at the fence, and collecting rocks. Today he had the dogs' water bowl out there with him and was making soup. And he also decided to take off his pants for some reason. Funny boy.
