It's only June 3rd, but we've already had some fun this month. Last night we camped out in the backyard, which both kids were REALLY excited about. So excited, in fact, that we didn't all get to sleep until about 11:30 at night. And that's even after our attempts to tire them out by earlier in the evening walking over to get snow cones and play at the park. But both kids did really well once they fell asleep. We ended up going in at 1:30 am, but only because it was windy and Mike and I were uncomfortable. But now we know that the kids can handle camping and are ready for more adventures this summer!

So, Mike downloaded a Nintendo emulator onto the computer so he can play old school Nintendo games with Rachel. Rachel loves "the monkey game", which is Donkey Kong Country. Especially the 2nd one because it has a girl on it that she calls "the Rachel monkey."
