It's Summer!

We are so glad it's finally summertime! We've been taking advantage of the sunshine and have had lots of little adventures already.

All the kids having a blast. Rachel especially likes to make soup with the water and sand.

 So, we have this big landscaping rock in our backyard, and Rachel calls it her oven. She takes leaves and "cooks" and stirs them to make pretend meals. It's so cute to watch, and she never gets bored of it. She's got such an imagination.

Rachel loves sitting in this tree. She can't climb up herself, but Daddy is very obliging whenever she asks him to let her sit in the tree.

 Carisa invited us over to play on their Slip N Slide, which they have a perfectly sized hill for. Both of the kids needed a little coaxing to go down, but had a lot of fun.

Reed riding Cicily's trike, and very happy about it. He's pretty much happy about everything.

 We also had our first fishing trip of the summer! Rachel with her catch. She loves her pink fishing pole.

Reed got in on the action too and screamed with delight at the wriggly fish. His interest waned after a couple minutes though. He's not exactly a "sit still and wait" kind of person.
