Went to grocery store. Shopped. Checked out.
Realized wallet is not in diaper bag.
Grabbed Rachel and drove quickly home to get it. Got wallet, ran back out to car. Left keys in the house.
Realized the house was now locked.
Said a prayer. Used credit card to jimmy door open. Said another prayer ("Thank You!!") Got keys. Drove very quickly back to store as it began to rain. Ran quickly back into store. Paid for groceries. Went home.
Drove home. Got a sleeping Rachel out very slowly, hoping she'd stay asleep. She didn't. Ate a quick lunch and put away milk amidst now-cranky baby cries. Held baby.
Smiled at life.

Good old credit card maneuver. Thank goodness it wasn't dead-bolted!
Sounds about as good as my day! I got to spend the day at girls camp. WET rainy the whole time girls camp!
You remind me of myself. :)
How funny! But maybe a little scary that it was that easy to get into your locked house.
