Today we have about 18 inches of snow at our house, and it all fell yesterday and today! Unfortunately, we don't have a snow blower, so we may have thrown out our backs shoveling all this white stuff (which is very heavy and wet). But we sure did have a fun time playing out in the back yard this morning.

Cicily came over to play in the snow with us too.
Once Rachel figured out that she could eat the snow, that's all she wanted to do.
The girls helped their daddies build a snowman! Carisa and I were out in the snow too, but I was the one taking pictures, so there aren't any of me. I was tackled into the snow quite a few times though. And many snowballs were thrown, especially by Mike and Nick- at each other.
This shows how deep the snow is. Rachel is not sitting, she is standing in the snow. Well, technically she was inserted into the snow. But that's how deep it was.
Rachel and Cicily spent the last 20 minutes we were outside just sitting here eating snow. They probably would have sat for longer, but we figured they were getting cold.
Afterward they sat on the couch watching Snoopy and drinking hot chocolate.What a good snow day!

Looks like so much fun! other then the fact that snow is cold... I hate the cold... but I would like to get Keely out in it a little bit more... unfortunatlly we are in Boise right now, and there isn't enough snow for it to be any fun.
Seriously that looks like such a fun day! I am so jealous, we haven't gotten any snow! It snowed twice but melted as soon as it hit the ground. I'm glad Rachel likes the snow!
I gotta admit, I do miss the snow. Not the cold, though.
