Springtime! Kind of.

The last couple of weeks have been gorgeous, springy weather (see post below).

But today we woke up to this:

We got seven inches of snow today. Rachel asked if it was Christmas. :)

A couple of weeks ago, Mike went on a business trip to the Philippines. His company has a call center there. The travel time was like 22 hours and he wasn't able to sleep on the plane at all. So basically, he was tired the whole week.

The first day he went with his company for a day of service. They visited an orphanage and read to/played with the kids there. This is the orphanage.

Some new friends.

This was the view from his hotel in Manila.
Another day they went on a tour of this old military island that was used in WWII.

The same day Mike got home, his little brother Conner returned from his 2 year church mission to Ohio. They arrived at the airport within 15 minutes of each other.

This is at Conner's homecoming. Mike's parents and all his brothers and sisters. With all the missions and people moving around, having them all in the same place at once doesn't happen much anymore.

This is just a random picture of Rachel snuggling her daddy. Notice her foot in his back pocket. :)

The other day, Mike woke up and said he didn't feel like going to work and wanted to play with his family instead. :) He hasn't taken a sick day since he's starting working at his new job, so we were excited to have him to ourselves all day. We decided to go up to the Discovery Gateway children's museum in Salt Lake. The kids loved it!
Reed loves anything he can ride on.

Riding a fake horse.

I think the kids liked the water area the best.

Riding in a helicopter.

After the museum, we got some lunch and went and walked around the mall a little bit. It was a good day.

 Happy Spring!

My BF in Hawaii is Filipino and she says it is SUPER hot in the Philippines all the time. I would love to go there. Your picture of the snow on the blossoms is beautiful.
